Playing With Phil Lesh!
Playing with Phil was simply unbelievable! He is a master at his instrument. During the whole time on stage with him, I was able to have a conversation musically. There was complete connection in tonal movement, dynamics, tempo, and feel. It was as if we had been playing together for years, and maybe we have:)
I have listened to thousands of hours of Phil's playing and to have been able to actually be involved in his next musical direction was one of the most meaningful momments of my life. He was able to teach me so much by simply playing his bass. If you have any questions about his lesson or just how it felt to play with him, let me know.
